Last Monday, we are informed by our Machine Shop instructor about our project for our finals. We are divided into five groups and are asked to fabricate four work pieces. I was appointed as the leader for our group.
First of all, I hate way instructors are grouping us; it’s often been alphabetical and Nueva’s been with me ever since.
Anyway, as the group leader, I assigned tasks to my members and decided it to be a draw lots. Nueva, as usual, insisted to choose an easier task instead of taking what he had drawn—another conflict with him. Well, I never won against that guy. I don’t want to waste my time arguing with hard headed one.
My day is not complete when somebody here meets into my nerves. Sometimes, I want to curse them; sometimes, I want hit them—but most of the time, I just let them be and keep my emotions for my self.
....
People have always criticized others. They tend to look at the imperfections of a thing instead of its beauty. I know I too have this problem. Maybe looking at them at the positive side will make me appreciate their existence here on earth better. Anyway, he did his “chosen task” well. I give him that.
Last Tuesday, we went jogging with the two new PMMA graduates who became our superiors recently. Also, they taught us the way of a real cadet (I like their marshal law).
Also, that day on our BST, we jumped on the swimming pool with our coveralls. Our schedule that day is 0900H-1030H and it is quite freezing on the pool. We also jumped on the platform with lifejackets in our coveralls (we are wearing our socks that time).
Then, that Wednesday, we tried boarding inside the life raft. It was quite hard to move with your coverall on the water, and when you do, you fill the coldness of the water even more. We did this on our Basic Safety Training course.
